Pink-grey Boujaad rug

This giant Berber rug was hand-knotted in a pink and warm grey colour combo. Its pattern features a rainbow shape which was created using a special technique, omitting knots, and woven with the same coloured yarn as the rest of the rug. The result is a spectacular rug, that we can imagine in many interior design settings.

It has a slightly felted surface that has not been shaved evenly and has fibres of different lengths. As a result it has a lovely shaggy texture. The rug was hand-knotted, using wool yarn and cotton thread and has fringes on one end only.
