Zindekhs, hand-crafted by rural Moroccan women, reflect joy and vibrancy through their colours and patterns.
This marvelous creation was made from recycled yarns, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. By utilizing grain sack as a foundation, the talented weaver meticulously hooked the yarns to construct this bold and abstract design, reflecting her inner creativity.
It is a vintage piece, originally crafted near the city of Boujaad, possesses a unique charm. Over time, the wear and tear have caused the white plastic sack to become visible in certain areas. However, we believe that this only enhances its character and adds to its overall appeal.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
