Abstract Red Boujaad Rug

This Boujaad rug resembles an abstract work of art and originates from Central Morocco, near the city of Boujaad. It features a background of scarlet red and burnt orange stripes, adorned with abstract line drawings in a contrasting deep dark purple hue.

Crafted from hand-dyed wool complemented by cotton warps, one end of the rug is embellished with braided fringes, while the other end features a woven closing strip.

Thanks to its short fibre length, this rug is easy to maintain, and the fringeless side poses no difficulties for a robot vacuum cleaner.
