Hand-woven flatweave rugs are thinner than their hand-knotted peers. They have a flat surface and are often double-sided. Just like the hand-knotting technique, hand-woven rugs take a lot of time and skilful craftwork to make. Most of our rugs are hand-knotted pile rugs, but we always have a selection of flatweave rugs available, too. A flatweave is a very good choice for under the dining table because it’s easy to clean and chair legs don’t get stuck on it.
