Small Boujaad rug with a city scape

This lovely Boujaad rug was hand-knotted of hand-dyed wool by our new weaving partner near the city of Boujaad. Though the design is quite “busy”, the rug has a calm overall effect due to its warm shades. Its cuteness is created by its line drawings and small motifs forming an urban landscape on the rug.

Due to its short fibres and chunky, felted texture it is easy to maintain, and its colour palette hides stains well, so it would do well even in rooms with heavy traffic, like an office, entry hall or kitchen.
