This adorable little Beni Ourain rug was handcrafted in the Middle Atlas region. It boasts a dense, thick surface made from natural wool, a trademark of the talented weavers in this collective.
The pattern is truly eye-catching, featuring interconnected diamonds running in two columns and framed by zigzag lines. The colour palette is carefully chosen for a harmonious look. Plus, there’s even a small Yaz symbol, which represents the letter Z in the Amazigh alphabet and symbolizes the free man.
Made from a mix of natural and dyed wool, this rug is finished with fringes on both ends, adding an extra touch of charm.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
