This playful giant Azilal with colourful lozenges, zigzag lines and fishbone lines showcases all the colours of the rainbow. It can be a good match to many room types, but the kid’s room is obviously the first that comes to our mind.
The rug originates from the Azilal region, where the weavers often use the lines of lozenges, fishbone, and zigzag motifs. All the lozenges are individual, with different colour layers. They are all so pretty, it is worth having a closer look!
The material is sheep’s wool combined with wool and mixed yarns in the colourful details. The warp is made of cotton yarn and the rug is finished with a decorative stripe and braided tassels on both ends.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
