During our recent trip to the High Atlas, we hand-picked this unique rug, crafted by a talented artisan. The distinct design immediately captured our attention, standing out from the usual creations of this weaving community. The rug is divided into three distinct sections, each separated geometrically: the central part features two varying shades of pink, with grass-green-cream coloured stripes at one end and cream-colored dots on a chocolate brown background at the other.
Hand-knotted using hand-dyed wool yarn, this rug is finished with fringes at both ends.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
