Adorable vintage runner rug with multicoloured diagonal stripes.
It was most likely made in the early 2000s and remained in very good condition, especially compared to those used in a tribal setting. Its playfulness and vintage soul is due to the different wear of the surfaces that have been knotted from different materials. For example, the details made from upcycled textile scraps stand out compared to the wool and cotton parts that are more felted. This unique wear and tear is what makes our vintage rugs so special.
The warps are made of upcycled yarns and the rug has short fringes on one end only.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
