Beni Ourain with cream coloured rainbow

This soft Beni Ourain rug is adorned with a rainbow shape without colours. The pattern was created using a special technique, omitting knots, and woven with the same coloured yarn as the rest of the rug. The result is an elegant rug, spectacular in its restraint that we can imagine in a more serious interior design setting.

The rug is medium pile, and is hand-knotted using undyed wool on cotton warping.
