This small Boujaad rug was made as part of a pair with its similar sibling and designed to decorate both sides of a bed. Of course, it would also look great on its own in a smaller space or in front of a piece of furniture. It is adorned with lozenges and simple geometric shapes and lines made using light grey, greyish brown, purple, pink, cinnamony brown and banana green. We think it would look beautiful with mid-century teak or oak furniture.
The rug has a slightly felted texture and a rather short pile. It was hand-knotted of died wool and has fringes on both ends.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
