Rusty brown Mrirt rug

This rusty brown coloured Mrirt rug was made for us by our newest weaving partner Mahjouba and her team in the Middle Atlas Mountains.

We love the shiny effect of its squishy surface. Its softness is due to both the high-quality wool it was made from and the special washing technique it underwent after knotting. Its 3D-effect diamond mesh pattern is achieved by the weaver omitting the knots.

Due to its colour, it’s ideal for those who are concerned about maintaining a cream-coloured rug.

It is made of dyed wool on cotton warping and has braided fringes on both ends.
