Pink vintage rug with brown

A bohemian rug with organic, irregular lozenges. Its warm pink harmonizes well with the brown grid pattern turning into grey at one end of the rug. The overall look is brought to life by a little red accent. The red colour is a hidden message here, representing the weaver and her wish like finding a husband or going to heaven after her death.

The rug is from 90s and it is in a vintage condition appropriate to its age. In some places its structure is a little loose and the surface has a slightly felted feel to it. It was made of hand-dyed wool and blended yarns. It has uneven, colourful fringes on one end.
