Why we love it?
This olive green Mrirt rug was made for us by one of our new weaving partners, close to the town of Khenifra.
We just love the beautiful shiny effect of its squishy surface and its wonderful olive green tone. Its softness is due to both the high-quality wool it was made from and the unique washing technique it underwent after knotting. It would definitely take a neutral, modern interior to the next level.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
