Beautiful Mrirt rug with a transitional colour palette recalling the shades of autumn leaves. Its irregular composition consists of smaller and larger traditional lozenge motifs and jumbled lines evolving into a net of lozenges. The pattern is knotted of natural wool, while the base consists of ochre, deep brown and light brown threads: one half of the rug is dominated by ochre and the other half by brown threads.
This unique piece is the result of the skilled craftsmanship of our new weaving partner. It is knotted of dyed wool and is finished with fringes on one end only.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
