Little Azilal with turquoise shades

Unique Azilal rug with a lovely colour combination. The use of turquoise and rhombus shapes evoke the undersea world for us.

The interesting thing about this rug is that the design creates a 3D feeling: the weaver achieved this by leaving the threads of cotton and synthetic fibres longer than the wool background. We think it works well.

The rug is medium pile and was made by hand-knotting, using many fixing rows; This gives it its characteristic structure.
