Light brown Mrirt rug

This light brwon coloured Mrirt rug was made for us by one of our new weaving partners, not far from the town of Khenifra (Morocco).

We just love the beautiful shiny effect of its squishy surface. Its softness is due to both the high-quality wool it was made from and the unique washing technique it underwent after knotting. Its 3D-effect diamond mesh pattern is achieved by the weaver leaving out the knots.

It’s ideal for those who are concerned about maintaining a cream-coloured rug. Its warm, light brown shade would really pop next to a dark or brightly coloured sofa or bed.
