Boucherouite rug with diamonds and red border

This lovely vintage Boucherouite rug is the definition of perfect imperfection with its composition realized with various materials and colour shades. The motifs of this rug can be traced back to female fertility symbolism of the prehistoric culture: in the middle we can see three lines of diamond chains filled with energetic colours. These are framed by long lines of zigzags on both sides and a red border.

It is made of upcycled textiles, and its colours were chosen with a wonderful sense of proportion: a little flashy yet fun and friendly too. We recommend it for the kitchen, children’s room or hallway because of its size and durability, which makes it great for high foot traffic areas. Although it can take a lot of wear, in case of a major spill simply throw it in the washing machine on a cold cycle.
