Berber rug with geometric shapes

This wonderful hand-knotted Berber rug was made by a lovely young weaver, Hajar, who has recently been experimenting with modern designs in her weaving. It is adorned with simple geometric shapes and lines made using orange, ochre, grey-blue and brown. We love this lively colour combination, and the mix of wavy and angular shapes and lines.

The hand-knotted rug is made from well-spun natural and hand-dyed wool yarns and is medium pile.
