This is a rustic piece that was woven using thick, botanically-dyed wool yarn using a flat-weave technique. Take a look at the close-up pics to get a feel for the weaving!
The piece itself is relatively thin and blanket-like, so if it’s going to be placed on the ground, it’s worth putting a slip-resistant rug pad underneath. It’s a great choice for an entry hall, in front of a small piece of furniture, or even in a holiday home.
The rug is woven of sheep’s wool on cotton warping and is fringed at both ends.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
