The ancient motifs and expressions of the Amazigh tribes who live in symbiosis with nature are on full display on this beautiful piece.
Its weaver is a pretty cool middle-aged woman who lives in a secluded village high in the Atlas Mountains. She is inspired by her family’s traditions and the visual world she experienced in her early childhood. She really likes to express herself in monochrome. She uses black most of the times, so her choice of blue is quite surprising.
We are sure that this piece will take its future home to a whole new level.
** All our rugs are carefully hand-knotted. Each piece is completely unique, bearing the individual self-expression of the weaver woman as well as the weaving traditions of the tribes of the Atlas Mountains. We handpick each and every piece of our collection. Please note that Berber rugs are handcrafted products so you may spot minor imperfections. We think this only adds to their character and charm.
